Minkiani Pass Trek

Minkiani Pass Trek is among the very less explored treks in Himachal Pradesh. The pass lies 7 kms from Kareri lake. The Minkiani Pass trek is very popular for those wanting to achieve satisfaction and a sense of adventure over a weekend. Minkiani Pass offers great views towards the north showcasing peaks like Sickle Moon (6574 mts) and Brammah (6515m) falling in Kishtwar region of Kashmir.

This is a fine trek passing through innumerable streams, rivulets, a beautiful lake, deep and dense jungle with rich fauna and flora. Villages along the route are located on steep slopes. The yellow and green terraced fields that interspaced them are a photographer’s delight. Like other high passes this pass provides a very scenic view of both Kangra and Chamba valleys and offers distant view of the Middle Himalaya.
