Tirthan Valley – 2 Nights-3Days

Serolsar Lake trek

Tirthan and Jibhi as is a perfect uncrowded and scenic place that offers some of the most enchanting landscapes of Himachal.

Tirthan river valley is an unexplored paradise that is surrounded by thick forests and provides a stunning backdrop for those who love camping. The small town serves as the gateway to the Himalayan National Park and is rich in flora and fauna. At 10800 meters lies the beautiful Jibhi Jalori pass that can be reached either by road or by trekking. You will visit the beautiful Serolsar Lake that resides in a beautiful backdrop of rich green hills and tall trees.

How to Reach

By Air :-

The nearest airport from Tirthan Valley is Bhuntar, approximately 50 km away. You will have to take a cab/bus to get to Tirthan from Bhuntar. The airport has limited connectivity and might face interruptions in operations, given weather fluctuations in the Kullu region.. Tourists from other parts of India would find it easier to take a flight till Chandigarh and book a Taxi/Bus (Himachal Roadways –HRTC is state-owned road transport corporation of the state of Himachal Pradesh) for their onward journey to Tirthan.

By Train :-

Chandigarh is the closest major Railway Station. No direct trains run to Mandi from Delhi or Shimla. However, you can take Shatabdi till Chandigarh and hire a cab/ take a bus till Mandi. You can take a Taxi/ Bus (Himachal Roadways –HRTC is state-owned road transport corporation of the state of Himachal Pradesh) from Chandigarh to reach Tirthan.

By Bus :-

You can travel to Tirthan by bus or public transport easily. Regular HRTC buses, as well as overnight Volvo buses, run from Delhi to Manali every day. These buses reach Aut next morning around 6 AM. You can get down from the bus at Aut and cover the rest of the journey to Tirthan by taxi or wait for Kullu to Shimla bus to arrive.

Trek /Tour fee Payment:
The fee can be paid by online by payment gateway/UPI Transfer. When your transfer is done, please share us a Snapshot of Transaction ID with your transfer details, so that we can follow up your reservation efficiently on what’s app/mail.

In case of  Extra Night Stay or Package Customization please contact us in advance.

 Refund Policy

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
  • All applicable refunds will be done in original payment mode used to made payment.

Booking Confirmation Policy

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking.
  • This is a non transferable voucher
  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email. In such case alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.

Advise

It is always advised to offload your backpack at the base camp or base village and carry only the essentials with you. Keep your baggage to a minimum, otherwise, your body will start rebelling within the very first hour of the trek.

Day 1-Aut Tunnel to Jibhi Village ( Four Wheeler)

After arriving at Aut Tunnel stop and meeting the rest of the group, you will reach the Jibhi Village by four wheeler.

Breakfast at Jibhi Homestay.

Head to local sightseeing in Tirthan and visit the Cheni Fort, Choi Waterfall, or Great Himalayan Park. A Guide will be assigned to whole group for Half day to explore places.

Covid Guidelines: Cover your face with Face Mask and maintain social distancing (6 feet), Day is to your leisure/Acclimatization.

Head back for Evening Tea and snacks.

Enjoy the evening at our beautiful Homestay in mid of forest with delicious Dinner.

You will spend the night  in village Homestay.

Day 2-From Jibhi, trek to Serolsar Lake

After breakfast this morning, you will trek to the Serolsar Lake. A taxi will take you till last motorable road point.

You will be walking through forests of Oak, Rhododendron, and Pine along with your guide.

Trek goes down through a beautiful forest filled with golden oak trees. It then gently shifts upwards towards one of the most stunning lakes with several camping options around the lake. The 5km trek is an enjoyable ride with dense forests surrounding you.

You have complete day to explore the area.

Head back for Evening Tea and snacks.

Enjoy the evening at our beautiful Homestay in mid of forest with delicious Dinner.

You will spend the night  in village Homestay.

After breakfast this morning, you will be dropped at Aut Tunnel Stop, where the Tirthan Valley experience will come to an end with the memories of the beautiful lake in your mind and in your camera.

Note:-

Tata Sumo or similar vehicles will pick-up you from Aut Tunnel bus stop to Jibhi Village.

Your trek fee includes

  • 1. Accommodation – Stay from Day 1 to Day 2 (Jibhi Homestay). (sharing basis).
  • 2. Meals – Breakfast, Evening Tea-Snacks & Dinner at Jibhi Homestay on Day 1, Breakfast- Evening Tea & Snacks- Dinner on Day 2, Breakfast- Day 3. We provide simple, nutritious vegetarian food on all days.
  • 3. Transport- Aut Tunnel stop Pick up and drop.
  • 4. Transport- For Day 2.
  • 5. Stay charges – All Stay charges are included.
  • 6. Experienced Guide.
  • 7. Sanitized Rooms. However, rooms can be sanitized again at your request.
  • 8. Safety equipment – First aid, medical kit, will be available at Homestay to deal with emergencies..
  • 9. Free Parking for Private Vehicle.

Your trek fee does not include

  • 1. Meals – For Non-Veg food prior intimation will be required on pay basis.(4 days prior to trek booking intimation required)
  • 2. Backpack offloading charges.
  • 3. Anything apart from inclusions.
  • 4. Any kind of personal expenses.
  • 5. Any kind of Insurance.
  • 6. Mules or porter to carry personal luggage.
  • 7. Any kind of emergency evacuation charges.
  • 8. Anything not specifically mentioned under the head.
